Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that people like to stay in their homes even if they are in trouble, they do not want to leave their homes.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah went on a tour of the entire city of Karachi after the torrential rains, during which he also inspected the drainage work in the city.
Talking to media on the occasion, Chief Minister Sindh said that Faisal Street is completely open, however, there is water in Drug Road underpass, from which water was coming back when they were pumping to get water out.
He said that the district administration was also providing assistance to the people at home and had met the traders at the nursery on Faisal Street.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that the vendors at the nursery had told him that there was several feet of water there. The Muslim Gymkhana on II Chandragar Road had a lot of water.
He said that many offices on II Chandragar Road have blocked drains, teams are working there, there is also water in the underpass of Punjab Colony.
Murad Ali Shah says that the city is not clean at all, there is water, of course, our ministers were on the highways yesterday, drains have been blocked by commercial constructions in the city.
The Sindh Chief Minister further said that seven deaths have been reported due to lightning strike near Millennium Mall. Our ministers were also present there.

He also said that we have set up relief camps in schools, people come but do not want to stay, there was 8, 8 feet of water on the roads at night, which is being drained.
During the visit, the Sindh Chief Minister also inspected the flow of water from the Malir River Bridge.
Due to rain in Malir river, water board lines have been broken. Repair work of lines is underway on the direction of Sindh Chief Minister.
