Chief Minister Sindh visits various places in Karachi

 Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah today visited various places in Karachi and reviewed the measures taken for cleaning the drains.

According to Sindh Chief Minister's Spokesperson, during his visit to the city, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reviewed the performance of DMCs and the steps taken by the district administration.

The Sindh Chief Minister's Spokesperson said that Syed Murad Ali Shah also inspected the site of disposal of the remains in Qayyumabad.

Besides, he said that MD Solid Waste Kashif Gulzar while briefing Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 85 alaishis have set up collection points in 6 districts.

Kashif Gulzar, MD, Solid Waste, said that 7892 tons of garbage was collected from South District, 9351 tons from East District and 3738 tons from Malir District.








The Sindh Chief Minister's Spokesperson said that Murad Ali Shah also inspected the Mahmoodabad Nalla. The Chief Minister was informed in the briefing that the work of cleaning Mahmoodabad Nalla was in progress.  

The Chief Minister's Spokesperson said that after seeing the Chief Minister in Liaquatabad, the people reached to meet him. The people also complained to the Chief Minister about the lack of cleanliness of houses and streets.

Instructing the Chief Minister, he said that he needed work to take care of the people in the right way.

While inspecting the drain of Orangi Town and cleaning the drain, the Chief Minister directed to expedite the work of cleaning the drain.

Later, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah visited the Eid Gah Ground in District Central where he inspected the Alayshin Collection Point.

When Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reached DA Chowrangi, Chairman DMC Central Rehan Hashmi while briefing the Chief Minister said that the pillars of Green Line project are in the drain with Safi College due to which this drain has been closed. Until then, the area will continue to be inundated with rains. 

Chief Minister Sindh visited Hyderi Link Drain and Hyderi Market.

Chairman DMC Central informed the Chief Minister Sindh that this canal has come under the track of Green Line due to which Hyderi Market and residential areas are submerged, this problem needs to be resolved soon.

After that, the Sindh Chief Minister visited Nagan Chowrangi where Rehan Hashmi and the residents informed the Chief Minister about the problem and said that if no alternative was made to these drains, there would be a problem of drainage.
