Heavy rains have been continuing in different parts of Karachi since this morning, due to which water has accumulated on many important roads and vehicles of citizens have been stopped.
The Meteorological Department had forecast light and moderate rains today, but now the Meteorological Department says the rain system is picking up again instead of weakening.

According to meteorologists, a system of rain clouds has formed from the sea to Ker Thar.
Karachi is in the middle of a cloud system, this system is constantly getting moisture from the sea, which is making it stronger.
Experts say that rain clouds are at an altitude of 35,000 to 40,000 feet. Normally, light rain clouds are at an altitude of 2,000 to 3,000 feet. Due to the high altitude, the clouds are constantly raining.
The rest of the system from Balochistan has strengthened it, after which the Meteorological Department has changed its initial estimates.
The Meteorological Department had earlier forecast continuous rain till 4 pm. Now, the Meteorological Department has estimated that the heavy rain will continue till 11 pm.
According to the Meteorological Department, drizzle and light rain is also expected in the city tomorrow while moderate rain is also expected in Karachi on 10th Muharram.
