Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced a holiday in the province tomorrow in view of rains in Karachi.
In this regard, the Sindh Chief Minister said that all government, semi-government and private institutions would remain closed on August 28.
The Chief Minister Sindh said that the institutions providing essential services including local bodies, health, water board, PDMA, revenue offices would remain open.
Murad Ali Shah appealed to the people of Karachi not to leave their homes unnecessarily.
He said that those who are stuck in the offices should remain the same.
He also said that the situation in Karachi is not such that one can get out of the house or office.
The Chief Minister said that the record of 100 years of rainfall was not limited to Karachi but the whole of Sindh.
