Heavy rains in different parts of Karachi

 Heavy rains are continuing in different parts of Karachi.

It is raining heavily in Rashid Minhas Road, Korangi, University Road, II Chandragar Road, Saddar, Burns Road, Shara Faisal, Nursery, Exhibition, Gurmunder, Landhi.

According to Director Meteorological Department Sardar Sarfraz, the rains may continue till 11 pm, while drizzle and light rain is also expected tomorrow.

He said that moderate rains are also expected in Karachi on 10th Muharram, a low pressure is developing in the Bay of Bengal and there is already turf in the Arabian Sea due to monsoon.

Sardar Sarfraz, director of the Meteorological Department, said that low pressure was still present in the Arabian Sea and southern Indus, adding that pressure was also coming from the west from Balochistan.








Director Meteorological Department Sardar Sarfraz also said that clouds are falling in Karachi under the pressure.

He said that there may be light, moderate and heavy rains in Karachi today.

Rains in the city have killed 14 people in various accidents over the past three days.

Seven people drowned, four were electrocuted and three collapsed.

Two youths of Zia Colony of Gulshan-e-Iqbal have been missing for the last two days.

According to the police, the families of the missing youths have expressed fears that the youths might fall into the 13D One drain.

Police and rescue agencies will resume work today to search for the youths, the family has appealed for help in the search for the youths.

On the other hand, homeless people are forced to live under the open sky in the flood-affected Simon Goth in Malir river, people are being shifted to safer places.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department said that different cities of Sindh like Mithi, Umerkot, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Mirpur Khas, Nawabshah, Sanghar and Dadu may also receive more rains with wind and thunder.
