Karachi was ignored, provincial government should give rights to the city, Governor Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said that Karachi has been neglected and the provincial government should give its due to the city, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said. That the rain broke all records, the city grew unplanned during the United States.

Host Shahzeb Khanzada said in his analysis that an area like DHA in Karachi also seemed to be sinking. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said that the Prime Minister has directed the Chairman NDMA to take effective steps to normalize the situation in Karachi. The Chief Minister has been contacted by Chairman NDMA and Federal Minister Ali Zaidi. Therefore, it is not correct for Murad Ali Shah to say that the federal agencies are not in touch with him.

Federal Minister Asad Umar, Ali Zaidi are part of Imran Khan's team. Karachi has been neglected for the last 50 years. Fourteen MWO teams are busy solving the city's problems while NDMA is delivering food to the affected areas. The Sindh government should at least give Karachi its due, the Chief Minister should give a share to Karachi from the budget. A committee has been formed to save Karachi. If the committee is not successful, big decisions will have to be taken and these decisions can be anything. It is the most expensive area but despite this the situation is out of control. Water has entered the houses, Sindh government has machinery and inefficient system.

Solid waste management has also failed. The administrator of Karachi should be a neutral person who belongs to Karachi. If an administrator is imported, the representative parties of Karachi will not accept it. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the rains in Karachi have broken all previous records, water has been pumped out from several underpasses but continuous rains are causing problems. Rescue work is underway, schools, colleges, marriage halls are arranging accommodation for the victims.

He informed the Meteorological Department till 11.30 pm last night. He said that only drizzle is possible now while the sun will shine during the day but unfortunately it rained a lot. The drainage system has improved in the last few years. Roads in North Nazimabad used to be very wide in the past but now there are commercial buildings there.

If 200 mm of rain had been forecast, security arrangements could have been improved. In 2010, Shara Faisal was full for four days but now the situation is better. According to the World Bank, ارب 10 billion is needed in the next ten years to improve Karachi. There are more but our resources are less. In order to collect more taxes, a new strategy has to be clarified so that an effective plan can be formulated for the city. The federal agencies did not consider it appropriate to talk to us. Comes

Karachi is not among the PM's priorities. In the era of MQM, the city continued to grow without any plan. Until the elected members work together to solve the problems of the city, the problems of Karachi will not be solved. It had nothing to do with Karachi. Presenting the analysis, host Shahzeb Khanzada said that the rains in Karachi had devastated the city.

Safety containers placed on the roads, police mobiles and vehicles were seen floating in the water, underpasses were submerged in water, all the drains of the city overflowed, water entered the houses, an area like DHA was also seen sinking, in Karachi DHA The drainage system is almost non-existent. The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains are not possible but then heavy rains started. There will be more rains in Karachi which will lead to more destruction. The Prime Minister said that he is aware of the plight of the people.

He also directed the NDMA to provide immediate relief to the distressed people. The Prime Minister has contacted the Sindh Chief Minister. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had complained that the Prime Minister did not contact him despite the current situation in Karachi. The Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah told the Prime Minister that he was on the streets and all efforts were being made to normalize the situation.
