The three-match T20 series between Pakistan and England starts today (Friday, August 28) at the Old Trafford Ground in Manchester.
The Lancashire County ground, which hosted the first Test between Pakistan and England, will host all three T20 matches.
Led by Babar Azam, the Pakistan team, which won the T20 series 2-0 against Bangladesh in January this year, a win in the series with England could improve its position in the ICC rankings.
In the ICC rankings, world champions England are currently second only to Australia, while Pakistan are fourth behind India.
